Q: How long does it take for my purchase to ship?
A: Sometimes your piece is in stock and ready to ship as soon as the next day! However Gilbeaux Glass is a very small business with limited storage space. This means that a lot of the time, the item you order is made specifically for you. Shipping times for these items can be a few weeks. Please reach out to us in advance if you have any questions.
Q:Will every piece look the same?
A: Unfortunately no. Each item is hand made. The glass is over 2,000 degrees in temperature and constantly rotating, while being formed. This makes it very difficult to recreate each piece exactly the same as the last. We strive to make each item as close to the next as possible, but we are human so each piece will differ slightly.
Gilbeaux Glass was officially started in 2022, although Owner, Noel's, glass journey started well over a decade ago.
Glass is often referred to as the glass bug. Many are bitten by it immediately after trying it for the first time. I was no exception to this. I started creating blown glass items for fun and to learn a new skill. I never imagined that it would turn into my passion and career.
I can only make this way of living possible thanks to all of you! I make glass in all kinds of unexpected color combinations in a variety of equally odd shapes. It truly warms me to know that some of you, out there, share my love of the odd and slightly off, beautiful parts of this world.
